Bvlgari Resort Dubai
Dubai
Dubai is a city that redefines luxury, catering effortlessly to even the most discerning travelers. With an extraordinary selection of five-star hotels, the emirate sets the global standard for opulence. Yet, in a destination where excellence is the norm, some properties still manage to rise above the rest. Bvlgari Resort Dubai, the prestigious getaway from the iconic Italian jewelry brand, is such a gem. Set on a private island, it offers breathtaking panoramas of the Arabian Gulf and the glittering Dubai skyline. Its pristine beach along with an exclusive yacht club and flawless service throughout your stay, creates an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. Elevating its allure even further is an unparalleled culinary journey, crowned by Michelin Starred restaurants such as Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and Hōseki. With its seamless fusion of elegance, exclusivity, and world-class hospitality, Bvlgari Resort Dubai is more than just a luxury hotel, it is a destination in itself.
Location & Hotel
The Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection represents the pinnacle of luxury hospitality, offering an exclusive selection of properties in some of the world’s most vibrant and iconic destinations. The hotels carry the brand name of the famous Italian luxurious jewelry brand Bvlgari that was founded in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari in Rome. In the meanwhile, the brand has hotels in Milan, London, Dubai, Bali, Beijing, Shanghai, Paris, Tokyo, and Rome, with exciting new openings to be expected in Ranfushi and Bodrum in 2026, Miami Beach in 2027 and Cave Cay in 2029.
The property in Dubai is situated on a seahorse-shaped island in Jumeirah Bay, connected by a 300-meter-long bridge to Dubai’s central coastline. Seamlessly blending seclusion with accessibility, it offers guests an unparalleled escape just minutes from downtown Dubai. The strategic location of the hotel offers sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf on one side and Dubai’s iconic skyline, crowned by the Burj Khalifa, on the other. Its proximity to the city’s cultural and commercial hubs makes it the perfect retreat for discerning travelers seeking both tranquility and urban excitement.
The 1.4 million square feet Mediterranean-inspired retreat was designed by the acclaimed Milanese architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and exudes refined elegance, featuring exquisite marble elements supplied by GBC Marmi in collaboration with Sital Marble, and lighting concepts crafted by Italy’s renowned Metis Lighting studio. The hotel’s low-rise architecture creates an intimate ambiance, standing in striking contrast to Dubai’s soaring skyscrapers. Inspired by a charming Italian seaside village, the design incorporates nautical elements such as coral-like sunshades, oak wood planks reminiscent of a ship’s deck, and a transparent façade that seemingly rises from the ocean.
Interiors are adorned with signature Bvlgari marble, black granite, and travertine, complemented by contemporary furnishings from Italy’s most esteemed designers. The resort caters to every accommodation need, whether you are looking for a luxurious hotel room, an impressive suite or a mind-boggling villa of more than five hundred square meters in size. In all these accommodations, the hotel experience is further elevated by bespoke services including private in-room check-in, 24-hour personalized butler service, Berluti shoe shine, in-room dining, and a meticulous packing and unpacking service. Even though there are plenty of reasons to leave the resort and visit the phenomenal city of Dubai, there is a risk that you might be tempted to just stay put and enjoy all the amenities of this rather – understatement- spectacular property. The beach club with its private cabanas and outdoor pool for sure is one of the areas in the resort where one could easily spend a few hours every day without being bored a split second. And then we did not mention yet Bvlgari’s first-ever Yacht Club, including a 46-boat private marina and the 1,700-square-meter spa of the resort, which features a hammam, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a beauty salon.
Of course, who is a loyal follower of our publications, knows that our true heart is in the culinary offering of the properties that we visit. Also from that perspective, we have to say that Bvlgari Resort Dubai is a rather unique destination on its own. The wonderful collaboration of the brand with Italian top chef Niko Romito, of the renowned restaurant Reale in Castel Di Sangro, where the chef has 3 Michelin Stars, led to the creation of Il Ristorante – Niko Romito. The restaurant, which has been awarded with 2 Michelin Stars, offers an exquisite blend between traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine in a stunning setting. For who wants to travel to Japan, without leaving Jumeirah Bay, there is the 1 Michelin Star Restaurant Hōseki, where Chef Masahiro Sugiyama, serves the best and most delectable products from Japan.
Bvlgari Resort Dubai is 6 kilometers away from Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. The nearest airport is Dubai International Airport, which is 19 km from Bvlgari Resort Dubai.

Gastronomy
The Executive Chef of Bvlgari Resort Dubai, is Italian Dario Abbate who was trained in France. The chef oversees the culinary operations in a property that has a culinary offering which is unique and especially truly delectable.
- Il Ristorante – Niko Romito : for real gastronomy lovers, the name Niko Romito will ring as a bell. The Italian chef became world famous because of his award-winning restaurant Reale in Castel di Sangro, where he has three Michelin Stars. Reale is internationally recognized to be one of the best restaurants in the world. Romito, who is not a traditional trained chef but who started his career as a financial advisor, is self-taught and is known and recognized for his unique interpretations of vegetables. With a highly technical cooking style, he succeeds in getting incredible taste out of vegetables turning signature dishes such as his creation with a broccoli leaf into globally recognized culinary masterpieces. Bvlgari has an international partnership with Chef Niko Romito and the chef has restaurants in the Bvlgari properties across the globe. The food which is being served in Il Ristorante – Niko Romito is different from what the chef is presenting in Reale, but each dish carries his signature and is interpreting the exquisite flavors of Italy with modern simplicity. Romito is visiting the property regularly, but can rely on the enormous culinary skills of Chef Giacomo Amicucci to make sure that every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest quality and taste. Guests can choose à la carte from the menu, but we opted for the Degustazione menu that featured delectable dishes of which some were local creations but of which some were also interpretations of Reale classics such as the phenomenal gratinée cauliflower and hazelnuts. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and raised banquettes offer a better view of the Arabian Gulf while a dramatic black ceiling gives the impression of dining at night under the sky. The restaurant has been recognized with two Michelin Stars from the moment the first Michelin Guide was launched in Dubai and we fully understand that.
- The Bvlgari Bar : in the same room as Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, we also find the iconic bar of the resort, The Bvlgari Bar. The shiny chrome, oval bar, is the perfect spot for a cocktail before or after dinner. Thanks to the innovative and especially delectable approach to cocktail mixing, the bar was awarded and made it previously to rankings such as The World’s 50 Best Bars.
- Il Caffè : Il Caffè is the venue in the resort where in-house guests can enjoy their all-day breakfast. But Il Caffè is much more than that. The restaurant, which is open whole day, and which features a large deck terrace overlooking the Marina, serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern delicacies, catering for palates looking to enjoy the local culture, but also for guests who want to enjoy the food of the home country of the Bvlgari brand. On top of that, Il Caffè is also the place to be for pizza lovers. The restaurant collaborates with SEU Pizza Illuminati from Rome and brings the famous handcrafted pizzas of Chef Pier Daniele Seu to Jumeirah Bay.
- The Bvlgari Lounge : in the lobby of the hotel, you will find this beautiful lounge where surrounded by stunning furnishings, art-filled books and famous icons from Bvlgari’s rich heritage, guests can enjoy afternoon tea or indulge in La Pasticceria – Niko Romito, an exclusive collection of eleven pastries created by Chef Niko Romito. We also discovered that it is possible to order a cocktail in The Bvlgari Lounge. The cocktails are prepared in the nearby The Bvlgari Bar, and served in a perfect manner. For who wants to enjoy those cocktails outside, at the back of the lounge there are doors that lead into a shaded terrace overlooking the Resort’s beach and the Dubai skyline.
- La Spiaggia : at the beach of the resort, La Spiaggia is serving exactly the kind of dishes that you expect at this location. The Italian style menu features antipasti, panini, bruschetta, pasta and mains from the grill.
- Yacht Club Restaurant : this restaurant is situated at the Marina in the world’s first Bvlgari Marina and Yacht Club. Diners can opt to eat inside, but we highly recommend to opt for a table at the unique terrace from where you can overlook the 46-boat harbour. The atmosphere is mesmerizing and one believes to be transported to a small, luxurious port area in a Mediterranean village. Even though we are familiar with it, we were still blown away by the beautiful plates, carrying the Bvlgari logo on top of the plates and the logo of the Yacht Club Restaurant at the bottom of the plates. It creates a very upscale, luxurious experience, served on the spotless white table cloths. The restaurant which is open for both lunch and dinner, is curated by Italian top chef Niko Romito and features Italian food, with a focus on fish and seafood. We enjoyed a phenomenally executed insalata di mare tiepida seppie, molluschi e crostacei, which is a warm seafood salad with cuttlefish, mussels, clams and crustaceans. The subtle tastes of the seafood were enhanced by the chef into a simple, but delectable dish. As main dish, we tried the wild seabass which was prepared on a charcoal grill and which was cooked to perfection.
- Hōseki : Hōseki is located at the fourth floor. You enter the restaurant via a typical Japanese reception area as can be found in traditional Japanese houses and which is called tokonoma. Immediately you notice the exquisitely modern and minimal interiors completed with polished furnishing, dark wood touches and characterized by a warm color palette. The interior design is very minimalistic and can best be described as a sleek, clean and monochrome interior. The main attraction of the restaurant is the mouth-watering food of Japanese chef Masahiro Sugiyama. Sugiyama was born and raised in Tsukiji, a district in Tokyo which probably will ring a bell for foodies as it was the location of the eponymous Tsukiji Fish Market. Expect to experience a memorable gastronomic indulgence with the finest ingredients directly imported from Japan. Inspired by Japanese traditions, Sugiyama san is presenting a two hours Omakase experience. The chef, who will impress you with his incredible knife skills, serves five to seven appetizers, followed by sushi, miso soup, a Japanese omelet and a Bulgari chocolate. The appetizers might consist of succulent products such as fatty tuna cheek, monkfish liver that tastes as foie gras, or squid. The staff which is dressed in traditional Japanese kimonos is executing a service which is flawless, ultra-polite and that focuses on each of the guests. Hōseki has been awarded with a Michelin Star.
