Inside the hotel, guests are greeted by an atmosphere of timeless elegance and luxury. The interior design by renowned designer Yukio Hashimoto combines classic Japanese elements with modern sophistication. The hotel has an exceptional art collection with more than 1000 works, mainly by Japanese artists. This ranges from the Hanabi crystal chandelier in the lobby, which is inspired by fireworks, to the details in the rooms, such as sliding doors made from individual pieces of walnut wood. Of particular note is the stunning “Lying Dragon Gate” in the lobby, a work of art by Keisen Hama. The work depicts a dragon gracefully winding around a gate, symbolizing power, wisdom and prosperity in Japanese culture.
As guests enter the lobby, they are captivated by the dynamic energy and cultural significance conveyed by this impressive artwork. These carefully selected artworks enhance the feeling of grandeur and elegance, creating a captivating environment for guests to enjoy upon arrival at this iconic hotel.
