wbpstars.com's rating systemDo we really need to rate the restaurants? Oh, yes. There are zillions of restaurants out there and just a handful that are truly great. Here at wbpstars.com we focus only on fine dining. So what is a fine dining
restaurant you might ask? Our definition is a full service restaurant, dedicated to taste and service that treats you to a captivating experience throughout a visit making you want to come back. We believe fine dining is a passionate lifestyle. Food rating systems are always controversial, but we have decided to have a rating system to make it as easy as possible for you to see where to go to and what to avoid. An evening at a fine dining restaurant can easily cost you $400 per person so getting professional advice when deciding on a restaurant can save you from a costly and disappointing experience. The most famous rating system is the Michelin Guide, which rates restaurants for comfort and food via the coveted Michelin Stars. Unfortunately a vast part of the planet lacks any Michelin Guide. In our opinion it is quite biased to the French cuisine as well as rigid and conservative in up- and downgrading fine dining restaurants as quality improves or declines. The wbpstars.com’s ratings on the other hand are frequently updated and provide an independent and frank opinion on each restaurant reviewed. We cover the whole world. Each restaurant is compared and reviewed against other restaurants on the planet and not just the local competition in each specific region. Our food inspectors dine anonymously and make multiple visits per reviewed restaurant before the results are published. In addition we are in contact with as many guests as possible asking them on their opinion of the restaurant being reviewed and our highly experienced editorial team is a part of the final score as well. All in all this makes out for a final assessment that is published at wbpstars.com. On our extensive travels around the world we are always looking for new restaurants to review. Please, do not hesitate to mail us or post on our blog if there are restaurants you think we should review. |
