Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, is located in a nineteenth century residence in the elegant sixteenth arrondissement of Paris, one of the most revered neighbourhoods in the city. The Shangri-La occupies an elegant mansion and offers spacious rooms and suites equipped with stylish design and modern amenities. It is a luxurious reissue of a beautiful decorated belle époque building constructed between 1892 and 1896 as the home of Napoleon’s grand-nephew, Prince Roland Bonaparte, who lived here until he died in 1924.
Most of its custom-designed rooms and suites offer romantic views of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms and suites are individually decorated with up class features such as custom-made furniture with crystal finishing. All rooms have a separate living room and a marble bathroom with heated flooring, separate bath and rainfall shower and Bulgari amenities. All 101 luxurious rooms and suites offer guests an unforgettable Parisian experience.
With its luxuriance of chandeliers, the Grand Salon is almost worthy of Versailles. Guests can dine in grandeur at the French gourmet restaurant L’Abeille or choose for a lighter meal at La Bauhinia with its exquisite glass cupola and Murano chandelier. On the other hand guests can opt for the renowned Cantonese cuisine at Shang Palace. Le bar offers guests private lounges. The health and leisure facilities at the Shangri-La include a fitness centre with the option of having a personalised coach as well as a 15-metre swimming pool and a hammam.
