Welcome to KOKS, a 2 star Michelin restaurant that is normally located in Faroe Islands. In 2022 and 2023 KOKS was relocated to the remote village of Iliminaq, Greenland. Perched on the western coast of Greenland, in the picturesque village of Iliminaq, KOKS offers an awe-inspiring setting that complements the breathtaking natural beauty of the Arctic region. The restaurant is designed to blend harmoniously with its surroundings, featuring rustic charm and sustainable materials that evoke a sense of connection with the local environment.
To reach the restaurant you travel by boat from Ilulissat to Iliminaq, on the way you pass by icebergs that come from the UNESCO World Heritage Ilulissat Icefjord and if you’re lucky you might see a whale or two.
From the moment guests arrive, they are greeted by warm, genuine hospitality that is deeply rooted in the Greenlandic tradition. The intimate setting, complete with wooden accents and panoramic views of the fjords and icebergs, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
You can stay the night in beautiful bungalows which overlooks the oceans and icebergs and then will also have the chance to enjoy a KOKS breakfast.
