Unforgettable is a small personal counter seat restaurant in the elegant baroque city of Turin which is in the region of Piemonte in Italy. Piemonte is gastronomically known for its wine and truffles and has a long historic culinary tradition blending French and Italian cuisine. Unforgettable builds on that tradition and evolves it further to give you an experience you will remember with pleasure if you have a curious mind.

The restaurant is located in the Center of Turin in the old medieval district of Quadrilatero Romano. It is a popular neighborhood with tiny rambling streets. It is exactly on one of this small street you will find a distinct purple door leading into Unforgettable. The room is medieval with beautiful arched stone ceilings. The restaurant is small and intimate with an open counter seating with 10 exclusive seats. There is a relaxing lounge area where you will start your dinner with an aperitif and some amuse bouche. Recommended is to try out an artisan Vermouth, it is a Turin speciality.

After a while everyone is invited to the counter seating. There you will be taken care of a cadre of chefs; uniquely everyone serving and working here is a chef except the sommelier. During the evening the chefs will be plating everything in front of you at the counter. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and upbeat with techno music in the background.

Head Chef Christian Mandura opened Unforgettable in 2019. His focus has been to place vegetables as a centerpiece with protein as an accompaniment. He grew up in a family restaurant and with his experience from Noma and Del Cambio he is serving at Unforgettable contemporary versions especially of Italian classics. The menu is set and is served at the same time to all guests making it a positive collective experience. The wine list has a great list of both Italian and non-Italian wines but recommended for the full experience is the sommeliers pairing and you might discover some new favorites.

There is an even smaller private dining room with four spaces where a single animal is served, like a counterpoint to the menu with vegetables at the centerpiece. This place is called Paradigma and is only open a couple of days per week.

The food at Unforgettable is tasteful, light and playful with a twist. The dishes served creates a great ambiance and feeling among the guests both from the flavors and the way of eating. As a guest if you are interested in taste and evolving cuisine you will be rewarded with a delicious experience to remember.
