Restaurant
Magorabin
Turin, Italy
Turin can be quite traditional when it comes to fine dining, the Italian heritage is strong. Fortunately, Magorabin will serve you creative contemporary Piemontese cuisine.
The smart and relaxed restaurant is situated in the city centre of Turin. The interior is light and fresh like the food.
Chef Patron Marcello Trentini reinterprets and recreates traditional Piemontese dishes in a totally new style. A vitello tonnato will have the ingredients, but in a creative and unseen style. When you taste the dishes you understand that a lot of traditional Italian dishes can be rethought and bettered. Chef Patron Marcello has a diploma in arts and has trained to be chef by nature which explains the creativity in food. Sometimes the creativity seems to be at the expense of flavours, but in general the dishes are both well tasting and executed.
Magorabin means bogeyman in the ancient dialect of Turin, and not any bogeyman, but the one children feared if they refused to eat their meals. This is nothing you have to fear when eating at Magorabin, here they deliver things you want to eat.
