The Etihad business class experience is one of the best in the world, with a ‘dine anytime’ concept, Acqua Di Parma amenity kits and a state-of-the-art Inflight Entertainment System.

Wellness & Safety

Safety is a standard for Etihad Airways, and in 2021, they became the first airline in the world with 100% of crew on board vaccinated. On board, specially-trained Wellness Ambassadors will make you feel safe and comfortable. They will make sure that the (during the covid-19 period) increased hygiene measures are being followed, and that guests get all the right information. Every guests also receives a special Wellness Kits, including a face mask, gloves and hand gel.

Business Studio

We flew in business class from Brussels to Malé in the Boeing 787-9 airplane. The Business class seats on this plane type are called “Business Studio” and are considered as one of the best Business Class seats in the world. The seats are actually small cabins that can partially be closed at one side. They are available in forward or rear seating configurations, have direct aisle access and are very spacious. When reclined, the seats become a fully flatbed, which measures 1.9 meters long on 56 centimeters wide. The seats even have a massage function and everything can be controlled with a small touchscreen. The timeless design is elegant and luxurious, with brown fabrics and beautiful Middle Eastern inspired lamps. Of course, there is ample of storage space as well.

The Amenity kits from luxury brand ACQUA DI PARMA are some of the best you can get in the sky. They are available on the long-haul flights and contain an eye mask, earplugs, luxurious socks and the signature fresh fragrance.

Dine Anytime 

A great feature of the Etihad Airways Business Class offer is the dine anytime concept. You can have your 3-course meal or breakfast whenever you want. The à la carte menu boasts dishes like an Arabic mezze, fish, meat and vegetarian main courses, cheese and several desserts. Champagne on offer is the excellent, full bodied Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut and there’s a great sommelier wine selection. We particularly enjoyed the Catena Alta Zapata 2016 Chardonnay and the Dauzac Bordeaux 2016. Food-wise, make sure to sample the Etihad famous steak sandwich and the Tandoori kebabs. Delicious!

Inflight entertainment & Service 

The Business Class Studios feature a 18.5-inch touchscreen television. You can watch live TV on channels like BBC, or choose from more than 300 shows and 100 movies. There’s a selection of playlists, podcasts and radio channels, which can be enjoyed with a great noise-cancelling headphone. And if you like gaming, you can even play interactive games on the E-BOX. 

The staff team at Etihad’s Business Class is highly professional and very friendly. They offer a personalized experience that is efficient yet warm and welcoming. 

Lounge access 

Business class tickets provide lounge access, where you can enjoy a varied selection of great international dishes, socialize at the bar, relax in the relaxation room, or even enjoy a refreshing shower. The lounge is very spacious and features several areas for dining, drinking, lounging and working.
