One of the newer restaurants of the property isMizu, a Japanese fine dining restaurant. Guests enjoy the best of Japanese gastronomy in a zen and relaxed atmosphere with a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean. The Alaska black cod with miso saikyo, made on the Algarve’s first Robata Grill operating on white Japanese Binchontan charcoal, is a must. But the sushi, tempura and many other dishes are definitely worth a try as well.

Atlântico Restaurant is located in the resort’s clubhouse, next to Mizu, and features beautiful views on the ocean. Guests enjoy a coastal-inspired menu which focusses on organic ingredients and regional flavors. It is a journey through the best Portugal has to offer. Some of the highlights of the menu include braised octopus tentacle, combined with chorizo from Monchique, lemon and fresh herbs; the crunchy Ria Formosa oysters with Atlantic seaweed, lemon and Kashmir curry; and the runny rice from Alcacer do Sal with the famous local Carabinero’s (scarlet prawns).

The stunning Cave de Vinhos (wine cellar) is located about 8 meters underground and a must when visiting Vila Vita Parc. The cellar was built with solid clay bricks and is filled with candles and beautiful wine decorations, giving it a magical atmosphere. The cellar hosts over 11,000 wine bottles from different regions in Portugal and from all over the world. In total, there are more than 24,000 bottles in Vila Vita Parc’s wine cellars. In the cellar, guests can indulge in wine and cheese tastings or private dinners for up to 12 people. Praia Dourada restaurant is located on the beach of Armação de Pêra, a few kilometers away from the resort. The restaurant also has a beach club and is a perfect place to spend a day at the beach. The restaurant features an internationally inspired menu, with dishes like “fish tacos with Algarve avocado and coriander”, “calamari with coconut-coriander sauce”, “Korean BBQ-glazed spare ribs” and “pineapple carpaccio with dark rum and ginger ice cream”.
