Can lluc Country Hotel is a wonderful “agriturismo” property located on the Balearic island Ibiza in Spain. Ibiza, known for the bohemian atmosphere, the excellent cuisine, the parties and the hedonistic lifestyle, has become one of Europe’s top destinations over the past few decades. Deservedly so. The natural beauty of the island is simply breath-taking and Ibiza truly offers much, much more than parties, clubs and bars. Surrounded by thousand year old pine trees, fig trees, olive trees and other natural wonders, ecology and natural beauty are at the core of the Can Lluc experience. There are more than 2,000 grape vines, too, and wild fruit trees and Mediterranean herbs set the tone for an experience that is Mediterranean at heart, pairing Balearic tradition with modern hospitality.

The main house and neighbouring buildings are over 300 years old and are beautifully restored to modern standards. Stone walls, wooden roofs and antique furniture were kept, resulting in an authentic yet luxurious Ibiza experience. The owners Lucas Prats and Tina Soriano renovated the property together with local architect José Torres. What was once an old ranch owned by Lucas Prats’s grandfather, was transformed into a remarkable boutique hotel in the heart of the Ibiza countryside. During the renovation, which took three years, the original architecture was respected and work across the units was held to traditional construction standards. Some of the newer areas are warm and modern, with subtle Asian influences and a bohemian atmosphere. Outside, many of the original objects that belonged to Lucas’s grandfather were restored to honour the past. Since the renovation, the property received several recognitions and is often regarded as one of the most charming hotels in Spain.

Rooms And Suites

Can Lluc Country Hotel features 20 rooms in different categories and a few wonderful private villas. All of the rooms offer a luxurious experience that combines the best of yesterday with the comfort of today. The interior decoration is authentic, emphasising the true Ibizan atmosphere, and most of the rooms boast beautiful views of the gardens, the countryside and the grapevines. Guests can choose between the following accommodation types:

• Deluxe doubles : double rooms with private terrace with views on the garden. They feature two single beds, a hydro massage shower, a small desk and a cosy fireplace for winter nights.
• Superior and family rooms : Superior rooms have a 160 x 190 cm queen-size bed and space for two additional beds on request. There’s a desk, too, and the bathroom features a bath. There is a fireplace in these rooms as well.VILLAS
• One bedroom villas : the spacious one bedroom villas are modern and feature an open-plan design. They have 180 x 200 cm beds and a spacious terrace with sun loungers or Balinese beds. • The Can Prats villa offers room for 4 people. It’s a charming villa just next to the Can Lluc hotel, which has two large bedrooms with fully equipped bathrooms, a lounge and indoor and outdoor dining areas. There’s a wonderful private garden as well.
• The Can Jaume Curt villa can host up to 5 people. It offers three bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, a dining room, two bathrooms, a barbecue, and plenty of outside space. A great option for small groups or families.

Resort Assets

Nature is at the core of the Can Lluc experience. The beautiful, lush gardens surrounding the hotel are a pleasure to walk in and there are several areas with sunbeds, Balinese beds and cushions to relax and take in the wonderful environment. There is a viewpoint on top of a small hill where one can enjoy the spectacular sunset over San Antonio Bay, too. A wonderful experience to end the day. In the centre of the property, the large swimming pool is the shining star for young and old. It features an outdoor Jacuzzi and a pool bar, and plenty of sun beds to relax. A special feature of the pool is that the drained water is circuited back into the pool, a reference to Ibizan architecture’s Arab-influenced traits. Can Lluc also features a health and beauty centre with sauna, “Zen” massage area and gymnasium. The property works together with experienced massage therapists to offer guests professional massages at the hotel. The hotel is well equipped for handicapped people as well.
