Hotel Heinitzburg is one of the most famous hotels in Namibia, situated in the country’s capital Windhoek. It is housed in a beautiful castle that overlooks the city of Windhoek. The castle was commissioned in 1914 and is managed by the Raith family today. The family is known for excellence in hospitality and exquisite cuisine and that is exactly what you might expect at Heinitzburg Hotel. Located near the center of Windhoek, the hotel is the perfect base to explore Namibia’s capital. Windhoek is the social, economic, political, and cultural centre of the country and sights include the National Botanic Garden of Namibia, the Christuskirche, the The Old Breweries Craft Market, the Independence Memorial Museum, the Katutura Township and the nearby Daan Viljoen Game Reserve.
