Hotel nhow Rotterdam is a city hotel in the broadest sense of the word. It’s modern, dynamic and constantly evolving, always bustling with activity, and offers all the necessary comfort and luxury. Add to that some of the most amazing views of the city and a location in one of the most hip neighbourhoods in Rotterdam, and you know that this is an ideal base for your city trip.
Location
Rotterdam is the second largest city in The Netherlands, located in the Southern part of the country. It is known as a major economic centre and that can mainly be attributed to the fact that the city has the second largest seaport in Europe. The city is also famous for its university, beautiful riverside setting, modern architecture and its vibrant cultural life.
Hotel nhow Rotterdam is located in the “Kop van Zuid” area in the Southern part of Rotterdam. This trendy, modern area is one of the youngest districts of Rotterdam and forms a connection between the centre of the city and Rotterdam South. The famous Erasmus bridge is probably the best known icon of, and the entry port to, this area. It’s probably Rotterdam’s most upcoming district, with plenty of restaurants, food markets, cosy shops and wonderful hotels. Warehouse buildings and historical landmarks are integrated into the urban development and today the area reminds of New York. Right at the beginning of “Kop van Zuid”, just in front of the Erasmus bridge, Hotel nhow Rotterdam enjoys a sublime location with amazing views on the city centre.
The hotel itself is located inside one of the most amazing building in The Netherlands. It’s even the biggest building of the country: “De Rotterdam”. This building was designed by renowned architect Rem Koolhaas and opened in 2013 after a 15-year long construction process. It consists of three interconnected towers that have 44 floors and measure 160,000 square meters in total. There are offices, apartments, restaurants and, of course, the Hotel nhow Rotterdam.
The Hotel

The hotel is located in the East tower of “De Rotterdam” building, which actually is the closest building to the Erasmus bridge. There are 42 stories in the building and nhow occupies 23 stories. The interior design is perfectly adapted to the building: it is modern and minimalistic and industrial, raw materials like concrete, steel and glass got the main roles. Playful accents such as a life-size green rhinoceros, funny and witty sayings and modern artworks enhance the urban and lively atmosphere inside the hotel.
The hotel boasts 274 hotel rooms, a gym and sauna, 11 flexible meeting rooms, an wonderful rooftop terrace, a bar and a great restaurant. It’s not only for hotel guests: outside guests are allowed in the bar and restaurant, too. Oh, and good news for dog lovers as well: your furry friend is more than welcome at nhow Rotterdam!

The restaurant also serves a wonderful and creative breakfast, where choices include a “Mexican special” with nachos and avocado, fresh orange juice, croissants filled with cream and strawberries, and much more.
