Swakopmund is Namibia’s adventure capital. You really can’t leave the town without exploring the nearby coast, the spectacular dune landscape, the seal colonies or many other wonders of nature. From sandboarding the highest dunes in the world to quad-biking between dunes and the sea, Swakopmund has something in store for everybody.

One of the best ways to get a good view on the amazing landscape surrounding Swakopmund, is by “simply” flying over it. Scenic flights in small (semi-)private planes are very popular and there are few landscapes in the world that can rival that of the Namib desert (which borders Swakopmund).
