The Chef & The Team
Shortly after its opening, Côte restaurant received a first Michelin star. That shouldn’t be a surprise, as it is overlooked by the famous Three-Michelin star chef Mauro Colagreco, whose restaurant Mirazur (France) was chosen as the world’s best restaurant by the World’s 50 Best Restaurant List in 2019. At Côte in Bangkok, the chef and his team, led by talented chef Davide Garavaglia, offer a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional recipes and culinary heritage of the French and Italian Riviera. In 2025, Côte was awarded a second Michelin star, cementing its status as one of the very best restaurants in Thailand.
Chef Davide Garavaglia was born in Liguria and is the perfect person to translate the cooking philosophy of Chef Mauro Colagreco in Bangkok. He previously worked at D’O with Chef Davide Oldani in Milan, and at Sketch with famous Chef Pierre Gagnaire in London. Together with Mauro Colagreco, he was responsible for the three Michelin stars at Mirazur in 2015, as well as the achievement of the first place in “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”-list.
Gastronomy
At Côte, diners have the choice between degustation menus which come in 5, 7 or 9 courses. The dishes are based on luxurious products, which are transformed in refined dishes that are rich in flavour. Thai ingredients and techniques are used to infuse the menus with local touches. The produce couldn’t be fresher, as it is sourced every day and much of it comes from the Greenhouse, the hotel’s own garden which features over 100 specialist herbs, flowers and vegetables.
Highlights of our menu include dishes like brill with citrus and a smoked shellfish emulsion:
Or a delicious piece of pigeon with red cabbage, barley risotto and black truffle from Périgord:
