Epacha Game Lodge is a luxurious safari lodge located near Etosha National Park, one of Namibia’s most renowned highlights. This world-famous park is located in the northwestern region of the county. It is a game reserve since March 1907 and got the status of a national park in 1967. With 22,270 km2, Etosha National Park is a huge wildlife park. The name of the park derives from the Etosha salt pan, which covers 23% of the area of Etosha National Park. The pan is so large that it is even visible from space. Etosha park is regarded as one of the best wildlife destinations in the world. It is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the beautiful black rhinoceros. Rooms And Suites

The main buildings and the chalets at Epacha Game Lodge are all designed in a colonial, luxurious Victorian style. The lodge features 18 luxury chalets scattered around the hills on the property. With 80 square meters each, the chalets offers plenty of space. The center of the property is the main lodge building and all chalets and communal areas are overlooking the private game reserve. Bedrooms are very spacious and include a luxury bathroom with spacious bathtub, a large inside shower, and an outside shower. Each chalet has a large balcony that is the perfect spot for a sundowner with a stunning view over the Epacha Private Game Reserve. Of course, all rooms have air conditioning, as well as a mini-bar, a safe and coffee & tea facilities. The colonial interior style combines lots of wood with Victorian furniture and marble. Very cosy and the perfect spot to relax after a day of wildlife spotting.

Lodge Assets And Experiences

Epacha Game Lodge offers a relaxation area complete with a well-equipped health centre, billiards room, library, smoking lounge, and much more. There is also a conference room, fitted with the latest audio and visual equipment. Food at the lodge is excellent and the restaurant offers both continental or English-styled breakfast, and an ‘a la carte’ menu as well as multicourse meals for lunch and dinner. There is also a nice wine menu with bottles at correct prices.

One of the biggest stars at Epacha is the Mystique spa. The Epacha Game Lodge was the first property in Namibia to combine the African safari experience with wellness when it first opened its doors in 2001. This Spa is equipped with a Sauna, a Steam Room and 2 treatment rooms (including one double treatment room).

The beautiful location inside the Epacha Game Reserve is a big asset as well. This reserve covers more than 13.000 ha, and is one of the biggest Private Wildlife Reserves in Namibia. Guests can participate in morning, afternoon or night drives and admire many different game species inside the reserve, including some rare species like the Blackfaced Impala and the Bat-eared fox.
